In TextOut, you will receive in-app and desktop notification alerts when you have a conversation that is ready to be responded to or when there is a pending action that needs a response in TextOut. If your Workspace Administrator has turned it on, you may also receive email notifications when you have replies waiting.
Types of Notifications in TextOut
You can access notifications within your TextOut account by clicking on the bell in the top right corner of the TextOut screen and then click on the option to 'See all notifications.'
After clicking on 'See all notifications' you will be taken to a screen that lists all of your previous notifications.
You can access notifications within your Mobile Browser's TextOut view by clicking on the 'Bell' icon in the top right corner of your Mobile Browser. A drop down will appear, showing your most recent notifications.
Mobile notifications will also appear in real time as a blue banner at the bottom right-hand side of your screen. These notifications will appear for a brief moment and then disappear.
You can also enable desktop notifications for TextOut within your internet browser. The first time you get a notification from TextOut, your browser will ask you if you want to allow TextOut to show you notifications.
Note: this will look different on some computers
Once you click 'Allow' any notifications will appear in the bottom right corner as a pop up if you are using Windows and top right if you are using a Mac.
If your Workspace Administrator has enabled it, notifications will also be sent to your registered email address whenever there is pending action in your TextOut account. An email notification will be sent for any reply waiting in your Inbox. These emails will go out between 9 am and 6 pm daily.
